East Cheatham Elementary students experienced a "teachable moment" this week.
While working on a group project, a student experienced difficulty in understanding a new concept. Mrs. Bonnie, a longtime member of the East Cheatham staff, told the students that she worked for many years to learn how to sew, but she never gave up.
Through a hands-on demonstration, Mrs. Bonnie encouraged the students to keep trying and never give up.
East Cheatham Elementary hosted "Science Family Night" on Monday, September 29, 2014. Students and their families participated in several science-related demonstrations.
