In a letter received from Bob Bright, the CEO of The National Beta Club, Bright says, "This national award speaks highly of Sycamore Middle's commitment to academic rigor and illustrates your dedication to preparing students for college and career readiness. A National Beta Club at SMS provides a unique learning experience that allows students to achieve lifelong goals. We appreciate your continued focus on fostering activities that ensure all students can achieve success. Congratulations on being named a National Beta School of Distinction."
The National Beta Club is the nation's largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization. They are committed to recognizing and promoting high academic achievement, rewarding and nurturing worthy character, improving student leadership skills, and encouraging service to others.
