Congrats to the Sycamore, Cheatham County and Harpeth football players who were named to the All-Region 6-3A team:

Sycamore
Region Most Valuable Player: Tyler Niebel
Region Most Valuable Offensive Lineman: Adam Carey
Region Most Valuable Special Teams Player: Logan Seibert
All-Region: Cody Breedlove, Dakota Dodd, Eli Pallares, Ryan Seibert and Grady McPherson
All-Academic (3.5 GPA or higher): Tyler Niebel, Grady McPherson, Cody Breedlove and Carlos Rosado

Cheatham County
Region Most Valuable Defensive Player of the Year: Zach Kessler
All-Region: Dawson Primm, Joe Moseley and John Martin
All-Academic: Gabe Young and Ely Weakley
All-Region Manager: Carley Buchmiller

Harpeth
Region Most Valuable Athlete: Luke Gossett
Region Most Valuable Linebacker: Matthew Pack
Region Most Valuable Tight End: Aaron McWright
All-Region: Thomas Sloan, Logan Callies and Davion Primm
All-Academic: Thomas Sloan, Mason Holley, Davion Primm, Andrew Polk and Aaron McWright

The region banquet will be held Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. at Fairview High School.

The Cheatham County School Board recognized the employees at its Nov. 7 meeting.

The employees receive a $25 WalMart gift card that is sponsored by A.O. Smith through the Cheatham County Chamber of Commerce.
