Other highlights from the region tournament: Sycamore won second place for the overall tournament team and Harpeth placed fourth and Harpeth’s Cooper Edwards’ 170-pound match against White House Heritage won best match.
On the girls side, Amanda Thomason of Cheatham County Central High School finished first in her weight class (112 pounds) and also qualified for the state tournament.
