Thanks to the support of the Cheatham County Commission, we are excited to announce that our middle and high school band programs will see a significant boost in their funding in the 2019-2020 school year.
Each middle school will receive $8,000 and each high school will receive $17,000.
The commission approved the money via the education debt service fund and not the general operating budget.
As you might recall, the district made the difficult decision to reduce the band program funding in the 2018-2019 budget so we are appreciative of the County Commission’s commitment to our music programs.
When you see your commissioner, please thank them for their support of our students.
