The new tradition allows students to claim their reserved parking spot and paint it.
“Painting the parking lot spaces was a way for our students to express themselves at school,” said Principal Dr. Lee Rector. “They could paint anything they wanted as long as it was approved. We have some very creative students and this allows them to leave their mark on the school all year long.”
The school hopes to have another painting party later in the year if more students are interested in painting their parking spots.
