Employees of the Month recognized

The Cheatham County School Board recognized the district’s Employees of the Month at its Monday, Feb. 5 meeting.

Starting this month, we are honoring a school nutrition, technology and transportation employee each month.

• Ashland City Elementary School: Tammy Retchless, Teacher
• East Cheatham Elementary School: Tara Smith, Counselor
• Kingston Springs Elementary School: Lesley Van Der Merwe, Teacher Assistant & RTI Teacher
• Pegram Elementary School: Keri Messer, Daycare Site Director
• Pleasant View Elementary School: Kelly Staggs, Teacher Assistant
• West Cheatham Elementary School: Rebecca Myers, Cafeteria Manager
• Cheatham Middle School: Sue Mullican, Teacher
• Harpeth Middle School: Mary Meadows, Receptionist
• Sycamore Middle School: Jesse Buck, Teacher
• Cheatham County Central High School: Lauren Street, Teacher
• Harpeth High School: Gary Halstead, Teacher
• Sycamore High School: Gwen WhiteOwl, Teacher
• Riverside Academy: Viola Butts, Teacher Assistant
• School Nutrition: Angela Thomas, ECES Cafeteria Manager
• Technology: Josh Stuart, Lead Computer Technician   
• Transportation: Maureen Gilmore, Administrative Assistant
 
The employees receive a $25 WalMart gift card that is sponsored by A.O. Smith through the Cheatham County Chamber of Commerce. We thank them for their continued support of the Cheatham County School District.
