East Cheatham Elementary School students dressed for success on Wednesday as Bridgestone visited the school to conduct job interviews.
Company representatives, along with school leaders and Cheatham County business owners, interviewed the third and fourth grade students.
The students applied for jobs, filled out applications and then had one-on-one interviews.
It was a great experience for the students.
As many of us know, the job interview process can be intimidating, but a little practice at an early start can go a long way in boosting one’s confidence.
Before the interviews, the visitors were treated to freshly-brewed coffee as part of the school’s new coffee shop.
WQSV-790 AM also hosted its weekly Wednesday show at the school, and show host Kelly Ellis interviewed Principal Wendy Cox, Academic Specialist Susan Mackey Collins and several students.
