The county's top science fair participants from each school in grades 3 – 12 convened at Cheatham Middle School on Thursday, October 23. Science fair coordinator, Emily Staggs said, “The science fair is an opportunity for our students to shine bright. We are very thankful for the community support shown to our participants.” Staggs added that judges included Representative Mary Littleton, County Mayor David McCullough, and members of the Cheatham County Commission. The evening's entertainment consisted of Toni Staples-Hawley (teacher at ECES), Harpeth Middle School Band, Sycamore Middle School Dance Team, and Sycamore High School Choir. Staggs said, “We’re thankful for the support of BJ’s Family Restaurant, The Lunch Box, and Riverview Restaurant for providing refreshments during the event.” |
