The Science Fair is open to the public and will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. at Cheatham Middle School in Ashland City.
“The Science Fair is an opportunity for our students to shine bright. We are very thankful for the community support shown to our participants,” Science Fair coordinator Emily Staggs said.
Community judges will include Cheatham County School Board members Kimberly Messer and Jennifer Hamblin.
The Science Fair will showcase the talent of many Cheatham County students, including Sycamore Middle School student Blake Young, who will perform a magic act; and Sycamore Middle School student Gracie Parrish, who will clog and sing.
There will also be performances by the dance team from Sycamore Middle School, choirs from Sycamore High School and Sycamore Middle School and jazz band from Harpeth Middle School.
BJ’s Family Restaurant in Pleasant View, The Livery Stables in Pleasant View and Cody’s Diner in Ashland City will provide refreshments during the event.
“We are so thankful for the generous support of A.O. Smith, which provides all the prize money for the students, and helps every year to provide this wonderful event which highlights our students’ academic achievements and promotes the love of science. We’re also thankful for the support of our local restaurants for helping make the Science Fair a success each year,” Staggs said.
