Harpeth’s Walker Weatherly was named Most Valuable Offensive Player as part of the Super Region Team.
Offensively, Harpeth’s Drake Fullum was named Most Valuable Wide Receiver.
Defensively, Harpeth’s Connor Barber was named Most Valuable Linebacker, while teammate Will Gossett was named Most Valuable Defensive Back. Cheatham County’s Ray Ray Sweatt was named Most Valuable Defensive Lineman.
Two county players were honored for special teams. Sycamore’s Austin Harris was picked as Most Valuable Punter and Cheatham County’s Peyton Ownby was named Most Valuable Returner.
Cheatham County players named to the All-Region team were Landon Barnes, Matt Horton, Walker Bunce, Daniel Gupton and Benton Puckett.
Harpeth players named to the All-Region team were Drew Eanes, Walker Ellen, Blake Moulton, Zechariah Saffer and Luke Gossett.
Sycamore players picked to the All-Region team were Darius James, Kyle Spurlock and Zack Sullivan.
Harpeth’s Cassandra Fink and Tasha Kosinski were named All-Region managers.
Fifteen county students were named to the All-Academic team.
They are Sycamore’s Micheal Loosli, Chase Hamilton, Konrad Schuessler, Issiah Havens, Kyle Spurlock, Colton Higgins, Eric Bunch and William Stuart and Harpeth’s Justin Anderson, Jarrett McKinley, Blake Moulton, Dalton Rucker, Connor Barber, Walker Weatherly and manager Cassandra Fink.
Harpeth’s Brent Weatherly was named Assistant Coach of the Year.
The region banquet will be held on Jan. 5 at Fairview Middle School.
